A quality mixture designed to give a fine, close - knit sward with a smooth and attractive playing surface. Ideal for decorative lawns, show gardens etc. A result of the inclusion of the top - rated Slender Creeping Fesues available when sown.

Formulated to provide a dense, compact sward with a vigorous root system, that has a high degree of wear tolerance, and recovers quickly from drought conditions.
A result of the inclusion of BARGOLD, the top - rated Dwarf Perennial Ryegrass in 2002, according to the Sports Turf Research Institute's ratings for Short Density, Fineness of Leaf, Tolerance of Close Mowing and Cleanness of Cut.
Suitable for regularly used lawns, landscaping, areas where frequent watering is a problem, recreation and sports areas eg. tennis courts, golf fairways etc. Highly recommended by the groundsmen and gardeners who have used it. N.B. ALL lawns, including those laid with SG 1 or SG 2, need regular maintenance ( mowing, edging, watering when dry, fertilising, spraying with a pesticide when necessary, etc ) to keep them looking at their best. Settlement & Compaction, probably to varying degrees over the lawn area will also occur over time. However, providing Top dressing ( with suitable topsoil / sand mix ) is carried out as soon as any dips appear, combined with Spiking / Aerating, then your lawn should stay in tip-top condition in the years to come.

Cash & Carry

Instead of having a delivery of freshly harvested turf to your door you could collect Cash & Carry turf and Topsoil from our farm between Taunton and Bridgwater - please ring at least a day in advance to arrange it.

Somerset and "Avon" customers can benefit from Somergreen Maintenance's services to look after their garden(s) at reasonable rates - please ring for an estimate.
